I bought this for fun when I was in Singapore a few months back seeing that it only costs SGD12.90 and I find that my skin was feeling dry then. After using it for a while, I find that this is quickly becoming a staple in my skincare routine.
Based on the description:
This is a pump bottle and I find that a single pump is enough for my face. It comes out as white lotion that instantly makes my skin feel smooth upon application. The pump bottle functions well and I've not gotten into any issues with it.
After using it for a couple of months, I find that my skin no longer flakes (yea, I was having some flaky skins cum acne issues earlier due to dehydration of the skin). The cheek area where my skin tends to feel tighter and drier ceases to feel so. Instead it felt even more nourished. With that too, I find that my foundation/ BB cream adheres to my skin better too. I guess that's because my skin isn't as dry and flaky as compared to previously.
I really like it. I've tried other essence but I don't find them working as well as this one. I guess it has to do with the progressive release system, so the hydration stays longer compared to other essence.
When I went to Watsons/Guardian here in KL to check out the prices, I was kinda shocked to see that it costs RM79.90 per bottle. So, when I was down in Singapore recently, I made a point to visit the store (Beaute Spring - available at Nex Singapore - next to Watsons and also in Bugis area - same row as Burger King) and stock up on it. Even the sales lady was telling me to buy more and stock up as it's cheaper there.
This definitely will be my must buy items whenever I head down to Singapore. A decent priced item which works well for me =D

Essence 15 Behind the Scenes Kajal Pencil Eyeliner
Okay, I truly am a sucker for grey these days. When I saw this eyeliner, like the brush, I couldn't resist because I was looking for a grey eyeliner. This truly stood out for me along with the brush... man, I have it bad, ain't I? I am not one that is suited for pencil eyeliner because I have oily lids and they tend to smudge on me within the hour I wore them. Hence, it is rarely that I do reach out for pencil eyeliner. I've even given some away because they smudge within minutes of me applying it *shudder*
For the price, it’s good. Nonetheless, I'm on the lookout for something that can last me longer.

However, for this darling grey, I couldn't resist. Plus, I think the price helps to seal the deal for me as it was selling for only RM4.90. Such a bargain item and it’s cheaper than some of our drugstore items.
I'd say this is dark grey. I tend to avoid black eyeliner these days because not only I look like a panda when they smudge, black eyeliner tends to dull my skin and makes me look sickish. Dark grey seems to suit me just fine, even if I were to do smokey eyes, it suits me well. I tend to line my eyes thickly, instead of a tightlining or lining my eyes as near to my lashes as possible. This does help to make my eyes pop and I love it for doing so. But like I said, I don’t have high expectation on it. It does smudge, but it’s not too bad as long as I remember to layer my eyelids with a bit of powder to keep the oiliness at bay. As I am in the office most of the time, it does last me at least 4 hours before smudging slightly. That is wayyy good de for me. Also, it tends to fade off slightly but tends to stay on till the evening.

Essence Blusher Brush
I couldn’t resist myself when I saw this Essence’s Blusher Brush on display at Coci Coci. I walked in, saw it and grab it without hesitation. Part of the reason is because it was priced rather reasonably, at RM14.90, and the other reason is because it felt so soft on my skin when I tested it.
(see how fluffy it is)
When it’s used with a blusher, it works wonders. It picks up the right amount of blush and it settles the blusher to sit nicely on my skin. I don’t have to worry about picking up too much pigments and applying it too thick onto my cheeks. Such a darling brush. It also works well to blend the blusher and remove all the harsh lines. Simple and easy to use. The blusher brush is pretty handy for travel use given its size. I usually keep the plastic wrap that comes with the blusher so that I could slot it back whenever I need to travel with my brush. Keeps the shape and I don't have to worry about it getting dirty too.
I'd say this is a good buy and I'm kinda itching to go back to Coci Coci to explore and see what they have =D
